Click Sccripts for HyperCard is a small HyperCard stack which allows you to create small HyperTalk scripts, even if you are not a HyperCard programmer!
How shall I use it?
Hey, that's easy.
1) Open Click Scripts.
2) Click on the "Let's work" button.
3) Select something from the pop up button. A second button will be shown. In the upper area of the window you
will notice 4 buttons: Stack, Card, Field and Button. If you want to create a script for a button for example
you have to click on the "Button" button.
4) Select a command from the button which did just occur.
5) Fill out the form that is displayed and click on the "Add command to script" button.
6) Select "Generate Script" from the "CS" menu.
7) Go to the first card and you'll see the script in the field in the bottom of the card.
If you develop your own scripts you'll notice that there are maybe sometimes a few blank lines in the script. This isn't bad, the script will operate correctly but it doesn't look nice, sorry. :-( I'll try to fix it. But if you have really much time throw out these lines out of the script but take care that you do not delete anything else!! Copy the script to the clipboard and paste it in the script of the field, button,… where you want to add the script.
What soft- and hardware do I need?
You need HyperCard 2.3 or higher. That's it.
Any fees?
Please send me 10 $ (folks like me always need money, see below) if you use this stack regularly or if you create your own stacks with it and give them to other people. Please pay in cash. Therefore you will receive updates, support, etc. via e-mail.
